Christopher M. Kailing, SAA, MRAIC, AIA, NCARB, LEED Green Associate, Partner / Architect

Chris joined pmgm architecture ltd. (formerly Pattison MGM) in 2013.

Chris' professional career in architecture started in 1999. He has worked in small and large firms in San Francisco, California, Nevada City, California, St. Petersburg, Florida, and Missoula, Montana. Chris' work history has provided him with diverse experience in the planning, programming and design of multifamily residential and mixed use developments, urban infill developments, cohousing and eco-village communities, affordable housing, small and large scale commercial, educational facilities, municipal projects, retail development, as well as custom residences. During his graduate studies, Chris focused on sustainable principles, passive design strategies and building envelope technologies. He is accredited to practice architecture both in the United States and Canada. 

Ward Peters, LEED AP Senior Technologist, Director

Ward Peters has been involved in the construction industry since 1989, having joined the firm upon completion of his schooling at N.A.I.T. He has worked on project types that include institutional, educational, commercial and financial buildings as well as multi-unit residential apartment and condominium projects.

Ward has many years of experience in the production of construction drawings, writing of specifications, contract administration, and coordination of consulting team. He is proficient with up-to-date versions of AutoCAD and REVIT (BIM, Building Information Modeling Program). He has been involved in projects from the design stage to completion of construction, and demonstrated skill in total project management and coordination between owner, consultants and contractor. 

Donn T. Lay, Senior Technologist, Director

Donn has been with Pattison MGM since 1996.

Donn is a Senior Technologist with a background in contract documentation and site administration. His project experience includes tenant improvements, schools, warehouses, medical clinics, secure facilities, and offices. 


Kali Sawcyn, Administrative Assistant

Kali is new to the architectural industry but is learning quickly since she joined pmgm architecture ltd. (formerly Pattison MGM) in August of 2012.

Kali's previous experience, in managing a movie theatre, offered many transferable skills that have helped while she works on the administrative side of the construction process and with general office tasks. Her skills with Adobe InDesign and her growing understanding of the Architectural Industry have made her a valuable resource in the writing and formatting of proposals, program documents, and reports. 

Lacey Venne, Senior Architectural Technologist

Lacey has been with pmgm architecture ltd. (formerly Pattison MGM) since graduating from the Architectural Program at SIAST in 2008. Prior to joining the firm full time she completed three co-op work terms with Pattison MGM.

Lacey's technical skills make her a vital team member on the multitude of project types that Pattison MGM is involved with. Her role involves consultant coordination, the production of contract documents, both drawings and specifications, as well as contract administration. Lacey is very proficient in use of AutoCAD for Architectural Drafting and has been furthering her knowledge of REVIT which the firm is using more and more. 

Weston Dennis, Intermediate Architectural Technologist

After 5 semesters in the Architectural and Building Technologies course at SIAST Palliser in Moose Jaw and three work terms with pmgm architecture ltd. (formerly Pattison MGM), Weston joined the firm full time in April 2011.  

Tayler LaBelle, Junior Architectural Technologist

After completing his diploma in Architectural Technologies (Interior Design) at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Moose Jaw Campus and three work terms with pmgm architecure ltd. (formerly Pattison MGM), Tayler joined the firm full time in May 2015.

Tayler's long term goal is to become a registered Architect. 

Shawn Kelly Intermediate Architectural Technologist

After completing the Architectural and Building Technologies course at the Moose Jaw SIAST Palliser Campus, and three work terms with Pattison MGM, Shawn joined the firm full time in 2011. After 4.5 years with the company, he took a short leave to work in British Columbia. He has since returned to pmgm architecture ltd, (formerly Pattison MGM) in April 2016, with a little flak from his colleagues.
