Chris joined pmgm architecture ltd. (formerly Pattison MGM) in 2013.
Chris' professional career in architecture started in 1999. He has worked in small and large firms in San Francisco, California, Nevada City, California, St. Petersburg, Florida, and Missoula, Montana. Chris' work history has provided him with diverse experience in the planning, programming and design of multifamily residential and mixed use developments, urban infill developments, cohousing and eco-village communities, affordable housing, small and large scale commercial, educational facilities, municipal projects, retail development, as well as custom residences. During his graduate studies, Chris focused on sustainable principles, passive design strategies and building envelope technologies. He is accredited to practice architecture both in the United States and Canada.
An added value that Chris brings to projects is his tested ability to design, organize, lead, and facilitate stakeholder engagement session. These sessions are part of an integrative design process that engages various professionals and client groups. Most recently in Regina he has organized and facilitated a series of participatory design workshops for the Prairie Spruce Commons Cohousing group which brought together 14 households toward a shared vision and design.
In his free time Chris is actively involved in the local and professional community through organizations such as the Regina Advocates for Design (RAD) and the Saskatchewan Association of Architects. He is a mentor for the Syllabus Program, enjoys the performing arts, cross country skies in the winter / cycles in the summer, and dances Argentine Tango.

Ward Peters, LEED AP Senior Technologist, Director
Ward Peters has been involved in the construction industry since 1989, having joined the firm upon completion of his schooling at N.A.I.T. He has worked on project types that include institutional, educational, commercial and financial buildings as well as multi-unit residential apartment and condominium projects.
Ward has many years of experience in the production of construction drawings, writing of specifications, contract administration, and coordination of consulting team. He is proficient with up-to-date versions of AutoCAD and REVIT (BIM, Building Information Modeling Program). He has been involved in projects from the design stage to completion of construction, and demonstrated skill in total project management and coordination between owner, consultants and contractor.
When Ward isn't at the office, he enjoys playing guitar, playing with his family, or playing in the yard on his garden tractor.

Donn T. Lay, Senior Technologist, Director
Donn has been with Pattison MGM since 1996.
Donn is a Senior Technologist with a background in contract documentation and site administration. His project experience includes tenant improvements, schools, warehouses, medical clinics, secure facilities, and offices.
The ability to work well with all key project personnel and create a team atmosphere makes Donn a valuable addition to all projects he works on. He quickly deals with any issues that arise and is very thorough in keeping all personnel abreast of all aspects of the project schedule. Continuity is another aspect that Donn brings to a project. He assists in the design stage and oversees the construction documentation process. This involvement continues once the project is tendered and awarded. He conducts site meetings, inspections and deals with all aspects of contract administration. Having Donn involved from start to finish ensures a well-run project. In his spare time, Donn enjoys competing in trail ultra marathons, which he trains for by mountain biking and running in and around the city. Education:
